Roy, an autonomous mower, allows users the joy of lawn mowing without the sweat and grime associated with the task. Unlike a sitting mower, Roy is small enough for most lawns, and consequently has wider marketplace appeal. For those that enjoy their time spent doing better things than mowing, Roy makes life easier by eliminating unwanted drudgery. For those that get a kick out of mowing but are physically unable, Roy provides a form of augmented reality where a user can robotically manipulate their environment. And Roy is there for those that simply enjoy being around robots.
